- We are a happy Native Texas family living in the beautiful Highland Lakes region of Central Texas. We have one beautiful, energetic, 8 year old daughter, and are STILL hoping to adopt another child (waiting 2 yrs now...)! We also have a 5 year old canine daughter named Dixie.
