We emptied out the microwave center.
And Rich got the dining room wall finished with Venetian Plaster!!

Now, the installers have about 20 minutes to arrive before Rich goes out to hunt them down! ;-)

Rich did a great job on the walls...will they stay that color? I like it. How is Rich fitting all this remodel into his work schedule?
Yep- that is the color (in the dining room. The kitchen just has drywall plaster on it so far.) It's a thin plaster technique. The plaster is tinted, and you trowel it on in thin layers all splotchy-like, and build it up to 3 or 4 layers. Then you burnish it and put a sealer on it. Rich is AWESOME at it! We've got it in our entryway and now the dining room and kitchen. Rich is doing all this work on weekends, and he's been home this week, luckily! I dunno how its going to work out with the ceilings getting finished!! Yikes!
