Llano Heritage Festival 10/18/2008

(I don't know why the text is so screwy on here. I tried to fix it and couldn't. Sorry!)

After Summer's soccer game Saturday (we won 6-1!!), we went to the Llano County Heritage Festival. It was a great day to be out enjoying the perfect weather! One of the "old-time" activities they offered was rope making.




Summer made her own rope!






And Daddy helped!

This is REALLY hard work!

Then, Mommy and Summer had to get out of a "rope puzzle." We never did.

LivRm Day 3

They finished the living room! Now all we have to do is to sand, stain and seal it!

Remodel Day 2

After losing a day to the rain, they finished the living room ceiling today! There's going to be a cedar "beam" in the center, and we'll still need to sand, stain and seal it all.

End of Day 1

They got about 1/3 of the way up one side of the ceiling!
